The Story
The Twotakes is a documentary about four young adults who have different responsibilities but share one common passion, music. Giovanni Turra and Josh Riccio are full-time students at Savannah College of Art and Design, whereas Chase Brown and Beau Anderson work in construction and at a fencing company. During the day, these four young men are so busy with their jobs and entering adulthood, that they hardly have time for themselves let alone a band. Nevertheless, when the sun goes down and they clock out of work, Gio, Josh, Chase, and Beau put their daytime worries aside, pack their gear up into an old van and drive off to play a show. After hours of driving, they arrive at a bar that changes everything. Everyone armors up with their instruments. Gio and Beau with their guitars, Josh with his drums, and Chase with his bass.
The stage-lights shine bright as fans from all over, cheer at the top of their lungs. The curtains draw back, revealing the indie rock band, The Twotakes. In this documentary, we will dive deep into the band showing intimate moments as they work hard to manage the daily grind and struggle of their nine-to-five's, sacrifice desires for a stable future, solving the conflicts within the band, and going through personal struggles. Throughout this documentary, the audience will be able to learn more about the Twotakes as regular guys, as opposed to the characters they put on for the stage. Will the band be able to overcome their individual responsibilities, while pursuing music and fulfilling their dreams?
